It is a safe, quick procedure typically administered in multiple sessions, with minimal discomfort and downtime, making it an excellent option for patients seeking a non-surgical solution to chronic pain.
Conditions we can treat with shockwave therapy include:
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Calcific Tendinopathy
- Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome
- Hamstring, Gluteus, Patellar and Achilles Tendinopathy
- Tennis / Golfers Elbow
- Muscle Strains
An initial consultation with one of our physiotherapists or podiatrists is advised to determine the cause of your injury and to construct an appropriate management plan. Your clinician will advise whether shockwave therapy is an appropriate treatment option for you.
