Our Story

Achilles Heel opened back in 2000 (yup, we're 20+ years old) with one goal in mind -  to create an all inclusive hub for runners, supplying globally sourced, tried & tested, quality running kit within Glasgow.

The name 'Achilles Heel' came about after our founder, Katie ruptured her achilles during Edinburgh marathon. The name of the store is a permanent reminder along with the huge scar to go with it.
