Iain
Iain has worked as a physiotherapist for 20 years, starting in the NHS, then joining Achilles Heel Clinic 13 years ago. Offering a wide range of skills and knowledge in the management of musculoskeletal conditions in clients of all ages and levels of activity. With an established interest in strength and conditioning for rehab and performance, this often plays a role with treatments. As a competitive long-distance runner, with a marathon PB of 2.29, Iain understands the physical demands and mind set of the sporting performer and has taken additional postgraduate courses in the rehab of running injuries to establish himself as a specialist within this area.

Sam
Sam qualified as a Podiatrist from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2013 and has been part of the Achilles Heel team ever since. She has extensive experience with running footwear and has a keen interest in biomechanics. Sam is skilled in all aspects of podiatry and takes a patient-centred approach to her work.

Kirsty
Kirsty has over 25 years’ experience as a chartered physiotherapist, both in the NHSand private sector, and has worked with patients of all ages and abilities, in the treatment of sports injuries as well as non-sporting musculoskeletal conditions, also working within professional football, rugby, tennis and basketball. She has a particular interest in identifying and addressing movement problems to aid rehabilitation and prevent recurrence of injuries as well as thetreatment and prevention of work related disorders. Kirsty is also a fully qualified APPI Pilates instructor and will often incorporate Pilates exercises into her treatment plans.
