Achilles Heel opened back in 2000 (yup, we're 25+ years old) with one goal in mind – to create an all inclusive hub for runners, supplying globally sourced, tried & tested, running kit in Glasgow.

The name "Achilles Heel" came about after our founder, Katie ruptured her achilles during Edinburgh marathon. The name of the store is a permanent reminder along with the scar to go with it.
