Katie

Katie is a registered Associate nutritionist with the UK Association for Nutrition, having completed an MSc in Nutrition at the University of Glasgow. She holds a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science and specialises in performance sports nutrition, having worked with elite athletes and teams from rugby, rowing and running. Katie can assist you with training, recovery and competition nutrition, or how to optimise your nutrition for overall health and well being goals.

Interests - swimming, pilates, travelling & coffee

Qualifications - BSc Sport and and exercise science, MSc Human Nutrition, Level 3 sports massage therapy, ISAK Level 1 and integrated Dry Cupping

What to expect on your first consultation


45-minute consultations include a series of health questions, family history, bio-metric data gathering and outlining of nutritional goals. We then discuss how to best reach this and decide on a nutritional plan for going forward. For performance nutrition consultations, ISAK skinfold assessments can be completed to allow for an accurate assessment of body fat and muscle percentage (%).

The meal plan is designed as 1-week worth of meals and snacks, based upon your nutritional goals, including macro-nutrient targets to help you meet this. This gives you a food-first approach to learn what types of food to include in your diet, supplying you with the knowledge to improve your health and nutrition into the future.

Check-ups allow you to stay accountable with your plan, giving you the best chance to meet your goals while also giving you time to ask any questions which you might have or changes you want to make to the plan and/or goals. This is recommended after 4-6 weeks.
