SAGE PAY

The Sage Pay payment system uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Their internet facing web servers are certified by veriSign, this ensures that no third parties can impersonate Sage Pay to obtain secure information.

SECURITY FOR THE SHOPPER

Any communication between the customer and Sagepay is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the customer's browser. The customer is also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment, by their card issuer.

TRANSACTION SECURITY

The transfer of the less sensitive transaction details from the retailer's site to Sage Pay is encrypted and digitally-signed. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.

DATA STORAGE

All delivery and contact data stored on achilles heel systems is held in secure databases. Likewise, all sensitive data stored on Sagepay systems is held on encrypted and highly secured databases. Sage Pay are regularly audited by Visa and MasterCard to ensure that their systems conform to the latest security standards.

PAYPAL

PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the merchant. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for this transaction.

PAYPAL PURCHASE PROTECTION

If an eligible item that you’ve purchased online doesn’t arrive, or doesn’t match the seller’s description, Paypal's Purchase Protection will reimburse you for the full purchase price of the item plus shipping costs.
