Vote achilles heel!
The Oscars. The Baftas. Sports Personalilty of the year. I've personally dreamed of being nominated for all three (I only won 2 though) and yet in reality what are the chances? The odds are the same for an independent specialist running shop being nominated for the Runners World "Best Retailer" shortlist. Dominated by National chains such as Sweatshop and Up & Running, the independent shop rarely features on this coveted award nomination list.
However! We are absolutely delighted to announce that achilles heel has indeed been added to the shortlist for Runners World "Best Retailer" Award 2011. This is a huge achievement for us and we know we owe this honour to our customers who support us and our hard working staff. Woo! We are privileged to fly the flag for the independent retailer but we need your help.
We are the only independent shop on the shortlist and so we need your votes! Time is super short - voting closes at midnight on the 31st of March so please, spare a minute and give us your vote! Lets give the big boys a run for their money.
