Having stocked FitFlop from it’s first availability in the UK, we were excited about the potential benefits of this footwear revolution. Revolutionary in the combination of function, comfort and style we now have one of the most comprehensive range of FitFlop’s available. What made it so different from run-of-the-mill footwear? The Microwobbleboard created in 2007 which was the brainchild of Dr David Cook and Darren James, biomechanists at London South Bank University. Collaborating with Marcia Kilgore the trio produced the first muscle-activating FitFlop. Considering the following stats, it’s little wonder the FitFlop became a hit globally.

• Increase bottom muscle activation (up to 30% longer)
• Increase hamstring muscle activation (up to 16% longer)
• Reduce knee joint stress (up to 20%)
• Reduce hip joint stress (up to 8%)
• Reduce ankle joint force (up to 11%)

Every year we ensure we have the latest range in FitFlop magic with styles such as the sparkly FitFlop Rokkit, stylish FitFlop Hooper, the stunning Pietra and Special Editions such as the Lolla style range and Fiorella. We also stock the timeless original Walkstar range for those of us who like to keep it simple.

However, for those of us who live in less tropical climates we are gratefully embraced the extension of the range into winter footwear. With the classic Mukluk boot now being joined by the Hooper Boot, the bold Blizz Boot and the funky Hyka, the problem might be narrowing it down to one pair! Toasty toes during Winter are no longer wishful thinking.
